How in h3ll ???
The game seemed ultra-easy to me....
I could of killed an enemy humanoid withought him touching me most of the times.
Anyway...HP is bound to constitution and magica to intelligence.
So if you want HP and MP, you'll have to have high Con and Int.
I also made a custom char, based on Str and Int (aka Damage and Magica).

Do you have any points in the combat skill you are trying to use? The more blade skill and strength (+ other stats) the more blades do damage, the more blunt skill etc, the more those do damage.

If using a 1 handed weapon, a shield helps with blocking and extra attributes (that you enchant them with or find them like that, the bruma sword quest you can trade a quest item sword (decent 1 hander, looks nice, weighs nothing) for an even better sheild, has some weird name I can't remember now.

Dose anyone know about the infinite gold trick?

All you have to do is to go to Kvatch, the little camp at the bottom of the hill (You need to advance through the game far enough to have the real Kvatch destroyed).

Look for a female ogre in a dress. You should be able to barter with her. Get on your horse and walk into the camp. Talk to her while you are on the horse. Now sell your equiped weapon. On the top of the screen, it says you cannot sell an equiped item, but look at your total gold. It increased by 200 gold. Continue selling you weapon as many time as you want. I just kept hitting OK to sell the item and watch t.v. while I wait. I stopped at 200,000 gold and I never run out. I only use it to recharge and repair stuff.

You only get 200 gold at a time, so it really doesn't matter how good the weapon is. Post back if you can get it to work. The glitch works fine on the Xbox 360 version, I don't know about the PC version.

thats what i thought. i couldn't belive that its being so "unfair". enemies move twice as fast, i get tons of damage, they get barely no damage. difficulty is BTW at normal i guss, half way the slider. just so you get a clearer idea, i'm now a hero at the arena, and to take someone down, i have to enter with 50 arrows, and normally finsish the fight with aqround 10-20, depending if i miss or not, while resotring ten thousands of times. trying to beat them only with a sword, wich has a much lower skill/stat lvel as my marksmanship/agility skills, is nearly impossible... i don't think that feels either "real" nor fair. the guys look like one of those "needle dispensers" afer the fight.
what's going on?

i dont really remember right now, but i think:

-marksmanship
-block
-destruction
-agility (or something like that)
-light armor

can't remembre the two last ones. but really, i couldve selected all idiotic skills as major skill (such as the on to get cheap stuff at a store), and i think it shuldn't b that way either. or, i guss i just don't understand the game lol.

Gold is somewhat useless.
The findable items are by far superior to anything the characters sell, and the enchanted items they sell are one for each character, so it'll be enough gold to get them anyway...
As for making gold, join the Dark Brotherhood.
They will pay good and offer bonus items. (You'll get 500g/mission after high-level admission).

Playing with Dark Brotherhood reminded me of the old Thief game... lots fo stealth.

Gold can be used to purchase expensive housing and horses, not to mention spells, which you can't just find (not scrolls, actual learnt spells).
