Hello everyone...

Our upcoming event is going to be held on April 8 & 9...starting at 10am on the 8th and finishing at 5pm on the 9th. It will be held in Eldorado, IL in the Eldorado Community Center. We generally host around 40-50 gamers at our events, but we have room for growth. We try to host at least two tournaments and also give away door prizes throughout the event.

We will open registration for the event in approximately one month from now. The registration will be $20 if you pay in advance, or $25 if you pay at the door. In the meantime, please feel free to check out our site at http://www.catacombz.com' ">http://www.catacombz.com. If you have any questions at all, please direct them to dezastr(a)catacombz.com. (<--- @ instead of the "(a)")

Thanks,

Not at all. Just advertising in the acceptable forum. There's even a sticky at the top which details how to advertise your LAN parties.

ah, but by LAN Party, its usually personal house setup with friends. 50+ people each paying $20, that's called spamming in my books. /tongue.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tongue.gif' />

lol...nice try! /smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif' />

Seeing as how a LAN party is a group of individuals connected to a Local Area Network to do some gaming, it seems we fit the definition exactly. Plus, we are not for profit. The $20 charge per person is all put right back into the group. Whether it's for server upgrades, advertisement items, or prizes which are given away...the staff makes $0 off of the event.

We're all about having a good time, and making sure our attendees are having a good time.
