I have two machines that I can't get new WU's for. Is anybody else having a problem?

Check here. http://folding.stanford.edu/serverstat.html' ">http://folding.stanford.edu/serverstat.html Sometimes an assignment server is taken offline for a few hours for maintainance. If that's the case restart the client and see if it'll try connecting to a different server.

Mine's just fine, last time I had that problem a reboot fixed it. Restarting the client probably would have done the same thing.

I rebooted both machines and restarted both several times to no avail. I will check on them in the morning when I get back to work.

Does anyone know about a problem with the results? Or is anyone having problems getting them to display? I am I have completed 5 today, since about 3 AM CST, and only one has shown. They were tinkers, and Gromacs, not Genome's. But I was just wondering.
Edit: OK, now 2 of 5 has shown so far...it is 11:26 CST

Now by Choosing -advmethods, do I do WU's and give up points, and WU credit? Cause I notice that my folding server has completed 6 gromacs in the last 50 hours. Now, thing is, I read the Log file, and it says its completed, and results sucessfully sent. But, I will have my -advmethods flag off now, and I am going to see if it credits me if I do not use the -advmethods flag. I mean, I thought I was doing great, nothign but gromacs...then I havent recieved credit for them, I mean its no biggie, its completed work that is brand new, maybe they can do something with the info I folded, but I was just pointing a problem out so it can be known on the board.....In the Morning (Kansas time) I will post the results of a Gromacs that was aquired without the -advmethods flag on, whether it posted points or not.

I'm thinking there's just a prob with the stats server. If the log shows that you've completed and uploaded the WUs, then you should be receiving credit for them. I'd see how things are tomorrow.

LV, which website are you checking first for you results? If it is this http://folding.stanford.edu/cgi-bin/teampage?q=34106' ">http://folding.stanford.edu/cgi-bin/teampage?q=34106 site they usually show up within 30 minutes or so. If you are looking for your result at the Extreme Overclocking stats page it can take upwards to six hours before results show.

I am doing it at the Team site, not the Extreme OC, the Folding.stanford...etc. I know that Extreme OC is pretty slow. But its been 3 days since its first non-credit. But, thats when I started using -advmethods. I turned it off. We will see what happens.
Edit: I just thought of something, a possibility. I have currently on a 2100+ Palomino system, the system in question, -forcesse on. Is it maybe, that I am completing them with errors? Can the Palomino CPU handle SSE well? Cause if thats the case, what good is it for me to fold, if the Info I fold for them is full of errors, due to SSE being on. F@H doesnt crash when its on, it works with the normal 30-40% increase in speed, it completes them fully. If the SSE is the problem I am going to stop on this system. My 3200+ barton, and 1800+ Tbred-B are going fine on it, SSE that is. But its just another thought, is there anything to it?

If the problem prove to be very stubborn you can ask at the folding community forums why the WUs aren't being credited. http://forum.folding-community.org/index.php' ">http://forum.folding-community.org/index.php All AthlonXPs can handle SSE. If you were receiving errors they should be showing up in your log file, so I don't think that's the cause of the problem. From what you described so far it looks to be a problem at Stanford's end.

LVS The Palomino is actually the one core that's immune to the SSE problems. And if you were completing the WUs with errors the log would give you some kind of indication of that. You could add the -verbosity 9 flag to make your log a bit more detailed. That might show any problems that are coming up.

Well guys, I took the -advmethods flag off, and the first WU I have dont so far on my 2100+ Palomino system, has been credited. So, when the flag was off, the first WU that was assigned to me that wasnt using the -advmethods flag, counted towards a WU. So, I will just continue to not use the flag, thats all. Yeah, all the times I would check my log file, it would be just like a normal completion, and a normal assignment. But I still use -forceSSE. I better post this on the Folding forum.

I noticed ARD's production in the last 24 hours..."zilch". But, I am having server troubles, reporting results, he may as well. Come to think of it, I noticed about everyone else on the teams production go down. Well, when the servers get back up, there will be a huge boost in WU's. I know I will, I have currently 8 on hold. Anyone else having trouble reporting?

I've heard the advmethods flag is screwing with a lot of ppl. One guy had 106 retries and still didn't get a WU. Another guy had 20 rigs waiting for a WU. He took off advmethods and sure enough he got a WU. It was a Tinker but rather that than nothing. As far as I go, I think all my rigs got bombarded with Tinkers at the same time. Either that or there are connection probs. The problem with having rigs all over the place is that I can't keep tabs on them like I would like too. Thankfully, I've got connections

Cause I know I dropped a WU say around 3 today and I only see it on the Stanford site. I'm about to drop another one too. Its been a good week. Gonna be hard to advance on anyone ahead of me though. 17's my lucky number anyway.

Well, I'm back in action. I just dropped 8 WUs today, all in the same period interestingly enough. It was crazy. Still getting Tinkers but I'm glad I'm dropping points again.
