The servers must be getting hammered at the moment. I noticed FAH got stuck one of my linux machines right after displaying the gromacs copyright disclaimer. I turned off forceSSE but that had no effect, so then I turned off advmethods and started the client with no parameters at all, but that still didn't work. I figured it might be a bug with the new core, so I renamed the core to FahCore_78.bak. I started the client again so it could download version 1.55, and that's when I found out it probably wasn't the core since the download took about 5 minutes(on my connection it usually takes a few seconds to download a new core). That, and the machine is still stuck using the old core also.

Don't we all wish our point totals have to be written in scientific notation.
