I am very curious as to whether I try this. Setting up 2 F@H directories, and running 2 F@H apps on a 1 CPU system. I will try it on a(Please hold the laughter) P4 2.4B. Thats my Lab rat. And if it even functions, then I will do so as well on my main rig, 2800+ Barton OC'd to 2.6ghz Just maybe some input from you guys on if you think it will work or not.

It'll probably work but it'll be pointless as one F@H will probably monopolize the resources. If you managed to get it to work at 50/50 it still wouldn't make any difference as it'd take twice as long to do WUs. You'll still end up with the same amount of points over x amount of days so it's really pointless. If you had an HT capable processor then you would see a benefit.

I do have a 533fsb board, that supports Hyper threading. Its stuck with the 2.4B tho. Well, I may upgrade to the 3.06ghz. Since it the only 533fsb P4 that has Hyper Threading.

Bump. But has anybody seen any tests with the P4 Hyper Threading CPU's doing folding? Cause if it isnt worth it, then I wont give anymore money to Intel.

It's pretty much the same as under most other apps from what I've heard. It usually turns out to be a net gain, but don't expect a radical improvement.

I don't know about this, but I am confused with the formula they have on their website:
points = 110 * (daysPerWU)

Someone care to explain? Either they have put it together in a wrong way, or it's just me having trouble interpreting.
