I'm using the latest console (5. something) two instances, installed as processes, and I can't get the damned things to shutdown

I'm running win 2k pro and taskmanager won't let me shut down the FAH core or console, it says they're in use. No crap, that's why I want to shut them down

on a related note... this is on a dual PII 550Mhz system with 768MB of RAM (more than my home computer, but SD) EM3 estimated that it would take about 3 weeks running 24/7 to fold a single p854_p53dimer854 I didn't mess with any of the settings, just ran at default.

You gotta look at what other processes is it using and stop those precesses and then the thing itself (if still alive after you stopped the related processes).

As Administrator, open Control Panel -> Administrative Tools -> Services. To stop FAH, right click the FAH service and press the stop button. To restart it, press the start button. To temporarily disable it, set the startup status to disabled. To remove it, press the Del key.
