i noticed that on the F@H stats there is this "AMD Developer Center" what is it? they seem to have stopped......

The Developers Center is a supercomputer cluster that AMD set up in order to provide developers with an easier way of working with applications optimized for the AMD64 platform.

The production of WUs is sporadic, because the developers center is often under a very heavy workload.

so like if i had a new peice of software i could have them run it and see how it would perform on their systems?

is folding one of the programs being tested or are they just doing it for fun?

Yeah, developers that log in to the developer center can run compatibility testing, scability tests and other stuff along those lines.

I imagine the folding client is installed just to make use of any resources that would otherwise go unused.
