I've been thinking, maybe we should get an all AMD processed F@H team started. It would be pretty cool I think. What do you think?
I know this is probably not for the general tech forum but there's really no other place to put it, and it is kind of tech related...

I think it'd be cool. I'd be willing to spare some extra processing cycles for the good of folding

You could always run Folding@Home alongside SETI@Home. We need to get everyone on these forums involved

Why only folding? There are dozens of other projects you know
But i already crunch for the Dutch Power Cows on other projects(ECC2, Climateprediction.net). I think i'll stick with that...

I'm sorry but I don't load non-relevant software in a live environment. I just don't trust them. I've got one extra box crunching SETI data. If it dies, I don't mind - it's a small win98 machine that I can restore via a CD I burnt

wasting processor cycles should be a crime at the other side, I prefer folding to seti because medical research is imho the largest imperative (and it actually solves many questions )

lol you could also think it this way... If we find aliens, they could have solved the protein folding problem already Or we could just do both...

Alright I'm in. Although I was folding for Maximum PC (That lasted real long(right)). But you can count on me. How funny would it be if Intel spawned a forum and had a team. Who would win? Sorry for bein off topic.
