Here's a great article on the benefits of Folding...

And also answers the question, "aren't computers already fast enough?".

Simple answer... No.

Rather than the screen saver, I'm now using the froper program so I can run it in the background all the time, I have the CPU usage setting at 60%. I can't leave this machine on 24/7 but it's usually on nearly all day when I'm at home so I hope it helps.

What does the score mean?

I'm folding, but for Custom PC, Team 35947, No. 30 in the Top 100 teams.

It doesnt matter what team you fold for, just make sure you do, after all, its not as if it slows down your PC or anything.

That is true, but if you are not folding you should start and if you are looking for a team you can always join the AMD forums team.

ive been taking left over computers that me and my friends have and setting them up in my basement. im gonna get at least 3 computers folding

the only reason i won't put it on my normal computer is it makes ur CPU run much hotter b/c it is always under full lode and my CPU has overheating issues.

There is a way to fix this tho....you can go to the F@H "Configure" menu and there should be a tab which you click on and you can tell the program to only use, for example, %50 of ur CPU so it won't run so hot. it will be slower at making WU but you are still helping!! SO GO AND DOWNLOAD F@H NOW!!!
