[21:25:51] + Benchmarking...
[21:25:54] The benchmark result is 6552

System specs:
Athlon X2 3800+ (Manchester), 2.0Ghz, S939

That does look a little low, even with a 3000+ NewCastle... but I've got two things going for me, 64-bit Windows (not sure if that's helping any... it feels slower) and the dual-core processor that's freeing up per-core resources.

Make sure all your other memory- and CPU-hoarding applications are shut down before benchmarking. The only things on my taskbar at the time of benchmarking were the console and Mozilla Firefox.

(P.S.: Call me a heretic, but the NewCastle architecture seems relatively slow in Windows XP 32-bit... perhaps it's the "NetBurst" of AMD. Oh well. :/ I still have my 3400+ S754 XP-32 system, and I noticed a very, very major performance boost when I switched to a Socket 939 X2.)
