Does Folding@Home v5.03 for Windows require the SSE flag manually to enable it? Or has this been fixed by now?

Check your Folding log file in the directory you installed the GUI client to. If you don't see that SSE capabilities are being used (except for Amber and Tinker cores), then you might have a problem.

You may also see this in the log file:

"Warning:
By using the -forceasm flag, you are overriding
safeguards in the program. If you did not intend to
do this, please restart the program without -forceasm.
If work units are not completing fully (and particularly
if your machine is overclocked), then please discontinue
use of the flag."

Nevermind... The beauty of the Linux version is that it does this for me. I was stuck in Windows for a few days while I wait for new HDDs but I just put in my other IDE HDD with Linux and went with it.
