I'll post back as soon as I get it built. The ETA is Xmas Eve if I am lucky, but the way deliveries are going, I think its going to be Dec 28 as UPS doesn't deliver on Sat. Its going into my Home PC. Antec Cube case which is sort of cramped and has bad venting. I originally started with an X2 5000 but went to a 5050e because the 5000 would get too hot in the case. Since I switched to the 5050e, it has not overheated. I may run into heat problems. The 5050e and the 605e both rate at 45W but I'm sure if all cores are running, its going to get hot and I might need to change cases. Its going on a Biostar A785GE board. Sort of cheap board but its a budget low power unit not for gaming... but if I need to switch cases, I will probably drop it into a slim case and make some sort of HTPC out of it.
