I'm currently running on an FX-8150 with the stock fan/heatsink cooler but at the time of purchase I really wanted the version that came with AMD's LCS -- Liquid Cooling Solution -- self contained water cooling kit.

When I purchased my processor the LCS version ( FD8150FRGUWOX ) was not available, *anywhere.* So, now that I have the processor, I was wondering how I could obtain just the components for the LCS.

Can someone point me to a source where the above can be bought or somone at AMD I may need to contact?

Thanks,

Asetek has the AMD LCS on their site under "OEM PRODUCTS" but apparently there's no way for consumers to buy it. On the other hand, the Intel RTS2011LC LCS can be found for purchase everywhere on the web.

Surely there's a way to get the AMD LCS through a distributor or some similar means?

Do you HAVE to have the AMD LCS?

There are plenty of self-contained LCS solutions for the AM3 socket on the market.

Honestly a good air cooler will do just as well as most of the self contained water loop systems, if your serious about water build a loop
