Hey all.
Need help picking out stuff to match Asrock 939 SATA2 MB.
Going with AMD 3200+ E6 Venice chip.
Emailed asrock.com because cpu support wasn't on list. They said with BIOS update 1.30 it will support it. Looked on web site, it isn't in list. Can someone verify this?

2 - WD SATA harddrives (1 - 40 GB, 2- 80 GB). Not using RAID control, just want speed of SATA.

Going with either Leadtek 6600GT or PNY 6800GT AGP video. weighting up $150 or $300 on video.

Either NEC DL DVD+r or Plextor 16x DL DVD+r? again price difference.

Was wondering on supported memory. they don't have that on web site.
2 - 512MB DDR400 (1 Gig memory) wanted.

PSU ?? what power rating do you think. Is it 20 or 24 pin psu? Antec probably. been using them without a problem untill power failure...new case with it, want front USB

How is onboard sound? Is going to be used for gaming and video editing. Should I put in old SB Live card? Just have Altec 2 speaker with sub.

Belkin firewire card. already have.

Thanks in advance

why are you getting such small hard drivers, for abit more money you could get much more space. games and video editiing will eat thoese drives up.
maybe get one big 250gb western digital sata drive for the same price.

The smaller the drive the less info I loose... hehe
Well I read to have a separate harddrive for video since you add and delete so many huge files. It said not good for harddrive, so make it secondary one.
Maybe I'll get a bigger WD SATA for a second one then. I'll have to see what sizes and prices they go to.
