whats the difference between the OEM fx 51 and the non OEM what OEM mean ???
on the site were i want to buy the fx 51 the OEm version is dearer than than boxed verison that comes with a heat sink and fan ??? whys this??
and has anyone got Corsair 512MB DDR XMS3200C2PT Platinum Registered CAS2 (MY-032-CS) running in a asus SK8U mobo ??

OEM means you get just the CPU, and whatever warrenty the retailer gives you.

Retail will get you a longer warrenty,
Heatsink (Good one too on FX's)
Thermal interface material

Yeah, the OEM version should never cost more than the retail. Sounds like whatever retailer is doing that is ripping ppl off.
