I was wondering what is the difference between the 3500+ Newcastle compared to the 3500+ Winchester? I know the winchester one is 90nm. But what does that matter? Because the Newcastle one is cheaper. Thanks.

There was an article on this. I believe Xbit had it.

Basically the winchester uses less power than the newcastle, is to be cooler, and is supposedly more overclockable.

Supposedly too there is going to be another 90nm core in Jan, a more refined one.
