hey i have a a64 3200+ and it was running fine for 2 weeks. when i took off the heatsink/fan to install it in another motherboard the heatspreader came off with them. i dont know how it happened but i'm wondering if this would be covered under warranty? i tried looking around on amd's webpage but i could only find a support email for asia. please email me at mike_dehm@hotmail.com if you know if its still covered by the warranty or not.

no the heatspreader, not the heatsink. this is the metal covering that keeps the core safe from installing the heatsink improperly.
