I bought an athlon64 3200+ do you think I should've gone for a 3400+? the thing was that I tought that 150€ difference for only 200 "Mhz" wasn't worth it, I would've asked here but I found the forum after the order

Well, a 3400 would have been faster, but you certainly won't notice the difference as anything close to night and day. If I was building a new system right now I'd probably get a 3200 also. Given the performance of all Athlon64's I don't believe buying any of them could really be called a mistake.

You did fine. The 3200+ will do plenty for you. It's not always about getting the fastest, but as long as it's one of the best (which the A64 line is), then you're ok
