i have recently purchased the x2 4400 and i have the following question about the thermal material
Do i have to add thermal conductor material on myself in the heatsink or also in the processor surface?
i have confused a liitle because the heatsink device as it came on the box, it has something like e plastic film on its bottom surface and i wonder if this it is alreadey the appropriate thermal material

If it is actually a thin plastic film, wait till you'rr ready to put it all together and remove the film. You shoud see a small square of the thermal material. In this case, the processor should not have anything applied to it. Attach the heatsink/fan.
In the situation where neither has anything on it, a small application of the thermal paste should be applied to the processer to give a very thin layer as it is spread across the complete upper surface. Don't add anything extra to the HS/fan. Assemble; done. Dave
