hi peeps ive just upgraded to a nice athlon 64 from my old trusty athlon 3000 xp. so far i am seriously impressed with the new system and it runs nice and cool under 40C. while going through the settings on the motherboard i noticed my memory is only running at 333mhz a bit odd when its all exactly the same make and type of memory which is kingston 400, the only setting that i have found that can be adjusted on the motherboard is the cpu frequency and this also adjusts the memory speed, is there anyway to get my memory to run at 400mhz without changing the cpu frequency as i do not want to clock my cpu.

Dont clock just read about the mem part. I dont have that board but it has to have mem configuration somewhere. These use mem dividers. At stock you want 1:1 for the refrence clock bus speed of 200mhz. THese dont have a fsb so its a bit diff then the old socket a's
