below are a few screen shot of what my cpu is running at and well to be honest I expect alot more out of this chip.. Im running the chip at 1.65v and its being cooled at -37c and it just wont get any higher..

can I have information on how to send my CPU in for RMA?? I have the retail box and reciept of purshace..

"ALSO THE HEATSPREADER HAS BEEN REMOVED, BUT iLL SEND IT ALONG IN BOX WHEN i SHIP IT BACK"

if this will void the warrenty can you possibly tell me what epoxy you used to secure the heatspreader and ill stick it back on..

thanks

what exactly is wrong? From what i can tell, everything looks to be in order... your processor temps look fine, you're overclocking, etc.

whichever version of Sandra you're using probably doesn't understand how to actually measure your bandwidth...just to hazard a guess...try updating to 2004 or 2003...

removing the heatspreader voids your warranty and posting about it here doesn't help your case any.

cheers,

dave

lol, sorry all I was just messing around.. these A64 chips are intel killers I have never had so much power on a desktop cpu and to think this is the slower AMD chip. Im tring the fx51 board and cpu this week and I hope to see some awsome results..
below is a quick 3dmark 2k1 run only one intel setup ever broke 26,000 and here I do it without even pushing the setup.. I had the world record for one day and now am #3 overall with two other A64 chips in front of me..

thanks AMD you finally did something that intel could not out do you with something of there own.

Apparantly the A64 and FX chips don't like really high voltages. Most of the bigger overclocks with watercooling and promms seem be doing it with only a slight increase in voltage. Considering the die size, it's not inconceivable to think that perhaps higher voltage introduces more cross talk hence causing instability. That's why I can't wait to see A64 and the FX core tweaked and developed, as it is still rather immature. Some optimisations within the core design may yield even higher clockspeeds at the current manufacturing process, and then wait till AMD move to 0.09u!!! There are going to be some insane overclocks

Excellent work Jason, keep it up
