Looks great! If have the money, I'd spend $80 more and get the 6800 GT instead of 6600. Good choices though. I have the A8V and love it.

Looks good, but if you can swing it the lower latency ram's will perform better, eg cas2 stuff.

Ok, so for the power supply should I go with... ANTEC TRUEBLUE 480W ATX POWER SUPPLY P4READY W/ BLUE LED FAN UL FCC B ' ">http://www.ncix.com/products/i...php?sku=9116&promoid=0 saving me about $15 and the low latency ram is about $100 more will it really make that much more of a difference in the preformance of the computer?

low latency ram does make quit a big difference......but I am not sure if its $100 worth, cas 2.5 to cas2 can almost be like bumping your cpu up to the next speed rating.

Looks similar to what I am building, good luck with it! And yeah if you are gonna upgrade something for the money do the card v ram, more bang for the buck. And my 2cents, for 15$ more power is never a bad thing.
And to throw a question out to you readers, do they make cas2 1GB dimms? everything I see is 3 (ie geil and OCZ), i guess cuz of size?? anyone lol?

Well if your gonna spend 300 bucks for a 6600GT why not get a 6800 for the same price.

I know corsair make a ddr400 2gb kit(2x 1gb dimms) in cas2 and cas 2.5 flavours.
(cas 2.5 is the fastest I have seen for socket 940 stuff eg registered )

I agree fully. Spend a little less on the psu, a little more on the video card, and go with the Kingston. I have 1024 (512x2) ddr400 pc3200 that was CAS3.0 and thanks to the A8V's bios, am running it at CAS2 without any problems. And it has made a noticeable (albeit not phenomenal) difference. Your setup looks pretty good, though.
hope this helps
