Ones again I need your help to make a right choice. I have to buy an AM2 motherboard for my FX-62 CPU and I want the best. :-) If you have any other MoBo in mind Let me know.

I would be thankful for your thoughts and expertise.

P.S.: The price for "Crosshair" is on $30 more than "Deluxe Wireless"; because of the insignificant difference in price we can put this aspect onside.

the CROSSHAIR has some more feature in it , and thats because it is more expensive than M2N32-SLI
i say get the M2N32-SLI

hi, if your looking for a board that is packed with features i would go with a gigabyte board. i have pasted a link to one of the best am2 boards they do at the moment. this board supports sli and 800mhz ddr2 ram along with loads of other features and has an nforce nvidia chipset. i have always owned gigabyte boards and they have proved to be super reliable

not to me.. although they pack perfect features with good price, the reliability wasnt good enough.. my GA-7VAXP skt A wasnt fully stable and needed maintainance 3 times.. ive also seen many skt 754 that failed completely without any chance of maintainance..

i say go with the asus..

I have the cross hair board, and love it, the cooling on this board is phenom. Also, if you are going to do any overclocking at all, there is a section in the bios called extreme tweaker, which you can overclock underclock everything on this computer. voltages for everything, its really, more then I know what to do with at this point. Also the board lay out is very nice for someone like me who has a 8800gts which is a very long graphics card, they layout of this board always for those very long graphix cards. I cant say on the other one, but I can say that I love this board to death. the LCD poster is good for troubleshoot, and the 1 button push for the reset cmos is nice. It also has a power on and reset push button on the MB itself which is nice when working on an open case and troubleshooting/modding.

It is Crosshair board and not Crossfire so it's SLI enabled i think.
So you can fit 2 8800 GTX

ASUS Crosshair motherboard uses nvidia 590 SLI MCP chipset.. so yes.. it would be a SLI capable motherboard

You can run 2 8800gtx cards on this board, but it will take up a lot of room. I just built my 1st computer last night, My eyes are red, burning and I need to go in to sleep mode for the next 8 hours. Uummm, pin out or connect everything you can around the PCI-e ports BEFORE putting these, HUGE, MASSIVE, vid cards on your board, or you will end up like me, Chewing on a mouse cord, shaking your fist, with the almighty question "WHY ME !!"running through your head.

it is an amazing board, and im sure there is so much more i can do with it.

I have the M2N32l-SLI Deluxe Wireless edition. It' a good motherboard. Built in wireless(kind of) and the ability to act as a router pretty much. Super stable for me, havent had a crash yet.

I was also in the same position as you. I was stuck between the crosshair and the wireless. This is what led me to my final decision. I liked the features from the wireless but i needed something very stable as i am a chronic gamer. If u are looking for something that you can use full load for days straight like me, playing FEAR for 24 hours straight and not one crash, then you def. want the crosshair. The motherboard itself is quite fascinating to say the least. Options in the bios that make tweaking easy, put together your motherboard in the dark, this is the true LAN gamer motherboard. Who wants to be playing a great session and your system freezes? Not me. I have yet had a problem with it.

ok, first of all...the specs (performance-wise) for the crosshair and the M2N32-SLI Deluxe are IDENTICAL...you are just paying extra money for the extra bells and whistles that come with the crosshair...I own the M2N32-SLI Deluxe and I can say from experience with it that it's perfectly stable...I know this is old and he's probably already bought his board, but I thought I would just throw in my informed opinion. I can say that the board is plenty stable...both are very stable. It depends on if you want a "better" sound card and no wireless built-in, or if you prefer wireless and an already great Sound Card. As far as Gigabyte's board...they are only decent and they don't offer any advantage over the other two boards...in fact, Asus makes a far better high end board (ie. M2N32-SLI Deluxe and Crosshair) than Gigabyte.
