That looks like a VERY nice setup. Personally the only thing(s) I would change is get 2 harddrives and RAID them (Perhaps Raptors, or the new Raptors that are coming out) and get a 9800 Pro XT

I thought the tx had less power than the pro? If it has more I am in, do you know where to find a review? Anyone have an opinion on my ram choice?

I'm not positive, but I think the TX is Dell's version, which is in between the Pro and non-Pro. The XT is more powerful than the Pro.

I will be adding the new Raptors when they come out. But I am in need of a new pc now lol. So I thought this drive would work for now and then I would use it to store movies after I get the new Raptors. Anyone know when they are going to be released? And I forgot to add my case Lian-Li PC-65 USB-B, 12-Bay, Aluminum Cases, ( with Transparent side cover & 1 Fan on the Top for extra cooling ). Color: Silver
And I will add a DVD burner when I can.
I am looking for a place to buy the XT , but I am not finding it. Has it been released?

If you can, I would wait. The .09 hammers will be out early next year and prices for everything will be down. If you can't wait, then that looks like a killer setup to me. The 9800XT isn't released yet, I think it's due in Dec. but I'm not sure. Check anandtech.com, they had a preview of the chip.

That looks to be a killer rig. I'm going to second some of the other sentiments around here though. If you can wait, definitely do it. The 939-pin version of the Athlon 64 FX will be out come next year and, in all likelihood, on the .09 SOI manufacturing process. This means lower prices overall. There will also be faster Athlon 64s available by then (3600+ if I remember correctly). And it also means you can get your hands on a Radeon 9800XT or NV40/R420, depending on how long you wait. So yeah, if you can wait, definitely wait. If not, that system will definitely hold you over for a good two years.
