Hello. I am new to this forum but I am looking for some advise. I currently am running an AMD Athlon 64 3200+ processor with an ATI radeon x1600 video card which has 512 mb of ram. I have upgraded my Dell PC to 4 GB of DDR2 ram. I would like to upgrade my processor but need to know what would be compatible with my system. I would like a dual core if possible, but don't want to buy one if it won't work. Any advice/suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

without knowing what motherboard is in your dell I have no way of knowing. best thing for you to do is probably contact dell. you're running ddr2 ram, so your computer is fairly recent; it is entirely possible you could run a dual core, but I have no idea what kind of BIOS dell uses.
