Hello boys and girls

When running an application (Football Manager), 1 of my cores is never utilized.

The game starts to stutter big time, but my computer is generally fine because the other core stays at 1-10%.

I thought it was normal until I brought this up in the FM forum. Turns out the game is supposed to use both cores at all times.

Does anyone know what I can do to fix this?

Specs:-

Athlon 64 X2 4600+
MSI K9n Platinum (Compatible with CPU)
Windows XP x64

I've tried installing the latest revision of the optimizer a while back, but it made my computer unstable.
