using
2 fx-74 processors
antec p190 + 1200 case and ps (NeoLink PSU system)
gtx 275 geforce (had an 8800gts 640 mb issues was the same than too)
sb fatality sound card
8 gig ram kingston ddr 2 800
had a pci-e network card but removed it issue remains.
2 western digital 500 gig in stripped raid (also tried it without raid same issue)
windows vista ultimate 64 bit

cpu-z reports hyperthreading only running at 200 on socket 0 when socket 1 runs at 1000 also tried 2 different types of ram and they both report working at 375 not 400 mhz ?
tried switching the processors ... and the socket stays the same so its not the chip cause socket 1 retested is still 100% after the switch.

called asus support and they said get the ps tested ... ps is fine but is it enough ?
the antec 1200 ps is really just a 550 and a 650 wrapped together , 1 dedicated to board and 1 dedicated to peripherals... thats all i can think of

anyone else seeing this ?

your CPU dose not have hyper threading for starters, that's Intel tech.

Your CPU has hyper transport tech or (HTT)

gone into bios and locked these settings down manually ?

If its done it on 2 boards then one of the CPU,s has a bad HTT link.

RMA it, if its not older then 3 years.

Just a thought , but a single 940 BE or 955 BE phenom II CPU would out perform 2 FX 74 CPU,s and use a 3rd the power and produce hella lot less heat when used on AM2+ or AM3 platform.
