But the built in version is from 2006. I think I would prefer the latest version.

dude windows 7 is 2009 based, Win 7 RTM 7600 is dated as completed 7/8/2009 .

Your complicating things far to much.

I use windows 7 RTM 7600 . trust me guy , its built in and your set.

Also there are no other drivers made for windows 7. I realize the CPU driver is 2006 so is mine. Clearly they ripped off the vista drivers for windows 7 lol.

Okay. I trust your word. But I already installed AMD Dual-Core Optimizer 1.1.4, since I did not know it is built-in on Win7.

Can you please tell me if there is some software that will help my processor work better? I don't know if only graphic card drivers or also processor's would help me in experiencing the best of my favorite games.

Windows 7 is the most advanced OS ever. It has native multi core optimization built in. I know my quad core uses all 4 cores quite even.

But then again you must use multi core active games and apps to use multi core optimization. Also there is a vast amount of problems related with dual core optimizer for vista when used in windows 7.

Recommend you remove it.

one tip is to turn multi thread optimization for gaming on if you use nvidia based graphics rather then use the auto option.

Hands down the best and free way to gain more speed out of your CPU is to overclock it.

4600 + can be overclocked to 5200 + specs with ease.

Uninstall the dual core optimizer driver, you don't need it for Win 7 and Vista.

Just download/install the latest Win 7 x64 driver from Nvidia (or ATI) depending upon the graphic card you have.

I have just uninstalled the dual-core optimizer.
I can't find the multi-thread optimization for gamming setting. Probably it is not available for my graphic card (GeForce 7050 PV on-board).
I have already installed the latest GeForce display driver (190.62).
Do you guys know an easy tutorial for overclocking? I've never did such a thing and I've heard it is riscky. Should I overcloac the GPU too?

Thanks for all your advices, but please, don't advice me to buy something new because I have no money. All optimization I have to do it with softwares, not hardwares.

4600 + did good at 222 FSB stock volts or bump the volts just a little to get a 228 to 232 OC.

Thanks for your advice, but unfortunatelly my manufacturer is saying that I can not overclock because of my motherboard, wich is ECS GF7050 M-M v.2.0.
