This is regarding a CPU not working. I just recently ordered an AMD FX-6100 Zambezi.I purchased the product on newegg.com. When I opened the box, i noticed one of the pins of the CPU is missing. I contacted newegg.com if they could replace or repair the problem since it was warrantied. Then learned that they don't repair hardware related problems and asked me to contact the manufacturer (AMD) for this matter. So I am in need of your help, if you can replace or repair the missing pin on the CPU I have purchased. The CPU is unused and still includes everything on the box. Please email me back regarding this. My email is (senzai@live.com)
This is a user only forum. If you need to get AMD involved best contact them directly.
Do you mean there is a pin missing or broken? Although it's hard to see how either circumstance would have made it through the testing process before packaging.
