ok so i bought a new rig and built it myself. heres what i have
antec 900 mid tower gaming case
amd fx-8120 8 core
gskill 8gb 1600 mhz
gtx 550 ti 1 gb
seagate 1tb hd
raidmax 1200 watt psu
dvd burner
asrock 990fx extreme 4
on idle its anywere from 35c(very cold room) 41c(normal coldess in room) to 60c gaming. everything is stock no overclocking and im scared to play my games cause i heard those temps can burn out your cpu . is there anything i can do to fix this heat issue? bios tuning or lowering voltages in axtu maybe? these are cpu temps and not core temps btw
I have a similar problem when I play Starcraft 2, the CPU fan sounds like a truck, and the temperature reaches 46 º C.
my pc has the following features:
cpu: fx 8120
VGA: 9500GT 1GB 550MHz gf-
RAM: 4GB ddr3 1300
Motherboard: Asus m5a87
anyone have any idea what happens? I have the latest version of the BIOS ... may need to change the fan for a liquid cooled ..
regards
That is because you were to cheap not to buy after market cooling
