Ok I'm posting here because Windows 64 needs a 64 CPU, I know im a genious. Well when playing CSS or HL2 they just hand on max setting with 4AA/8AAF at 1024x768. On normal XP it ran great on these settings. I would like to know why on an operationg system made for my hardware the preformace bottoms out.

Yeah, just check the rest of the forums to see how many people are having problems with their 64-bit OS right now. Personally I am going to wait about a year or two before I upgrade to a 64-bit OS. I imagine XP users will stubbornly hang around for about as long as some of you crazy Windows 98 advocates, while still moving the 64-bit generation forward. If you are that intent on using 64-bit Windows, might I recommend using a dual boot so that you can still play games while they get all the problems worked out.

Hope all this helps.
