I have an ASUS A8N SLI-Premium board and I cant load the BIOS screen. It tells me to press delete at the post screen but that flashes by in less than a second. I need to get to it because i installed ASUS Ai booster and thats causing my computer to lock up and I need to turn on AMD cool and quiet. Is there any way to load it from windows or a speicial way to get it up? Any suggestions would be great. BTW im posting here cause ASUS forums suck [content edited].

Have you tried a reboot while punching the delete key from the start? you can delete aibooster from windows in the add -remove programs section in control pannel. cool and quiet causes some problems with some setups.

If you have a USB keybaord and don't have legacy usb keyboard enabled in the bios you may have to plug a ps2 keyboard in to be able to use the keybaord in the bios/dos.

However most new boards recognise usb keybaord from the get up and go.

I sometimes have difficulty hitting the "del" key at the right time, what I usually do is turn the computer on and when the leds flash on the keyboard I start tapping the "del" key about once every half second...that usualy works

Man, you beat me to it with the whole USB keyboard thing Bitey /wink.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='wink.gif' /> . Yeah, unless its a cold boot (i.e. my computer has been turned off for more than a minute or two), I usually have to tap delete repeatedly to get into the BIOS.

Hope all this helps.
