does anyone know proper seq. to install win 64. installed new harddrive and installed win64 only.. should i install win xp, update sp2 then install win 64 ive read about having two o.s. how do i set it up? new at it...

fic k8-800t
amd 64 3200+
msi fx 5700
audigy 2zs
1g pc3200
160 gig hard drive
win xp

removed harddrive. installed new harddrive ,to try win64. not sure if i loaded it right norton won't enable,no driver for sound card,start computer ,program files open, is this normal? any help would be nice thanks

Well first of all you have to realise that Win64 doesn't have a whole lot of driver support as of this moment. Yes, you can go and get the drivers you need more than likely, but for now I highly recommend you install XP PRO and wait till April or May when the official release of Win64 comes out and you can trade in your XP license for the 64 license and get some official support for your install.
