Hello,

Anyone know of a way to get drivers even beta drivers for the above board for Windows XP64? I have the system up and running but no network support and no sound as the on board controllers don't have drivers.

Both controllers are Realtek chip sets. So far I've tried Realtek support and Gigabyte support and no one is talking!

Cheers,
Dominic

I think that you'll be lucky if you find anything before the offical release of Win XP AMD64, or even a couple of month later. Specially for old hardware.

unless ur an extreme o/cer, i'd not want that board, TBH.

if you are just a normal user (unlike me, he he) go for the ASUS K8V Deluxe. Macci's got it @ #1 ATM as well.

the NF3 does o/c better in 1:1.

Win XP 64-bit edition(for AMD64) is a beta...i really doubt you will get any support from any manufacturer before it is released.

Yeah, you really should use the 32 bit XP until there is support for XP 64. Even the release versions will not be anything near bug-free, and unless you have a 64 bit application you just have to run it's not worth it IMO.

32-bit drivers DON'T work on Win XP AMD64, becouse the OS can run 32-bit applications, but it needs 64-bit drivers to work.

Yeah, it's not a whole lot better for us SK8N owners (although the network works....) No SATA controller driver, no sound driver...

But hey, at least there's NVidia 64 bit drivers now!
