Hi! My specs are as follows

3800+ x2
dfi lanparty ut sli-d
2x ocz 1gb bronze series
200gb WD sata2 hdd
Geforce 6800gto ultra (Dell oem purchased 2nd hand)
Generic 500w psu
twinhan dvb-s sat tv tuner
onboard sound in use

Well the issue is i have blue screens of death on this machine when the multiprocessor Hal is selected in winxp (sp2 and mediacenter rollup2). When the old bios of this motherboard is fine (doesn't recognise dual core), or if windows is set for singlecore acpi hal, then no crashes happen. I just want to know what would be causing crashes when both cores are working. Ive added the patch for winxp sp2 and dual core, and the x2 drivers, and optimiser, and no luck. Thanks in advance for your help.

BTW the bsods are mainly irq not less or equal than, with various driver's as its issue. tcpip.sys is one, the graphics driver is another, another one was daemontools's fake dvdrom driver, etc. Both consistantly its an irq err. also this obviously happends more when high stress apps are running. Media player 11, mytheare (for watching tv) or gaming.
