What makes you think it isn't working?
I ask because I just did the same thing in regedit.

Simple way to check: open up Task Manager in Windows (Ctrl-Alt-Del or Ctrl-Shift-Esc) and click on the "Performance" tab. If there are two CPU graphs, then Windows recognizes and is making use of both cores. If not, then indeed you have messed something up and need to retrace your steps to see what went wrong. I would recommend checking dual-core help link 2 in my sig to make sure you have performed all the necessary steps for setting up your dual-core processor.

Hope all this helps.
