System Spec:

CPU: AMD 64 x2 4400+
MOBO: Asus A8N-E
MEMORY: 2 x 512 PC3200 DDR RAM
VIDEO: Gforce 7800 gtx

When i have my memory clock at 400mhz its very unstable, i get lots of BSOD's at any time, i can be playing or doing whatever sometimes for a couple of hours, sometimes i get the bsod within a minute of turning on my pc.

i discarded solutions like temperature, updating bios or drivers, power, etc. so one day i decided from the bios to "downgrade" my memory clock from 400 to 333mhz, and everything is working fine.

do you guys have any definitive solution for this problem? i really want to get my computer working fine with my memory at 400mhz

PS: sorry for my english

its probably the memory timings.
if they are on automatic settings in the bios, try changing them to the right timings manually

That happened to me are you OCing at all? If so you perty much have to lower it to 333 and if it's works good then you might as well and go OC your comp so your ram gets atleast up to 180mhz again. the 400 doesn't mean it's running at 400mhz it means it's ddr400 witch runs at 200mhz!
