hi ive got a problem with my mobo (i think?)

when i play games or set my mobo to "turbo" overclock mode my cpu get REALLY hot and my mobo starts to bleeb (the temp goes to 75+!

also it lags in games and my graphics card keeps resetting.

could the problem be that i have not installed the thermal paste correctly or could it be my PSU, i noticed it said in my mobo book they recommend a 400w psu but i only have a 350w could that be the problem? please someone help!

oh one more thing... my cpu temp is usually around 35 but even then when i play games it lags my feeling is that my PSU isnt giving my comp enough power?

It may be a lack of airflow in your case, how many case fans have you got?

Hi You can go to arctic silver site ,shows how to put paste on,to see if you did it right and psu could be the problem for the graphics card. not sure what your turbo boosts .but its overclocking the CPU ,the more overclock,the hotter it gets

i have 1 cpu fan which is a xilance and one other case fan which is just normal is that enough do you think?

ok................ ive just been playing fifa 07 & i had temps of 75+ ***kin computer

Also bare in mind that when you put on new thermal paste it takes about 200hours for the paste to find it's ultimate thermal conductivity. Dont expect the best results straight away. That said, 75C is way too hot. Maybe you should get a better cooler & fit some case fans aswell.

OC'd systems need more cooling. Good airflow within the case is all important.
