Just joined the forum so Hi to everyone.

I'm having problems installing a Geforce 6600LE AGP graphics card. Winxp goes through the driver install process okay, but does not actaully install the Geforce software etc. On reboot, the pc just goes into a continual boot mode. Tried also in safe mode. Also on a complete new install of WINxp Pro with no previous graphics card fitted.

I have the following spec:
K8upgrade 1689 with bios P1.80
AMD64 3400+
I gig DDR3200 memory
WinXP Pro - SP2

Tried four sets of drivers from Geforce including latest. Also updated to the Ali 2.30 graphics controller. Card was okay on another machine back at the store, but I can't install on this motherboard. My previuos ATI card works fine.

Any help much appreciated as I really want this Geforce card.

Did you unistall ATI Drivers Can cause conflictions

Thanks for the reply Smogsy.

On my original Windows, I unintalled everything first. I then did a clean xp install while the Geforce card was in the machine hoping windows would sort it, but the drivers would still not install, although the files went across. The clean install ended up the same as before in the reboot loop.

I have an AXA 420 watt PSU btw.
