I am a n00bie who recently purchased and built together a system consisting of the following components:

AMD Athlon 64 "Orleans" 3200+ @ 2.0 GHz
Arctic Cooling Freezer 64 + Arctic Silver 5
Corsair Value Select 2x512MB Dual Channel DDR2 667MHz at 5-5-5-15-1T
Abit KN9 Ultra, bios v1.5
Sapphire Radeon x1900gt @ 512 MHz core, 650 MHz memory
Western Digital WD2500KS 250GB, 16MB cache, 7200rpm
Arctic Cooling Accelero X2
Cooler Master Centurion 534, 2x120mm Fans
Hiper HPU-4K480 480W PSU

I have not overclocked any part of my system.

I can boot up my system and run windows and various applications. I can even run 3Dmark06. However, I fail the prime95 torture test. The small FFTs fail at 32K after 2 hours, the other two test fail after only a few minutes of even seconds. At first, I blamed my memories, but they pass 12hours of memtest86+, so I am not sure about that anymore.

Anybody who has an idea what might be wrong, and how I test it?

Best regards.
