Just after the computer has posted, and proceeds to boot up Windows, I hear my hard drive shut off...and then it re-starts up and the computer continues with booting Windows. Has anyone heard of this happening? The drive is a WD800JB IDE Interface.

Thanks in advance
Chris

Nevermind, i've apparently found a fix...I just switched my HDD's to the seconary IDE channel, and my optical drives to the primary and all is well...

If anyone else is experiencing this, try it out.

It was driving me insane!
Now my A64 system is purrfect
