I have the chance to sell my Nvidia 5900 Ultra for 300 and spend another 200 on a 9800XT is the performance gonna be worth the difference in dollars. Or should I wait for the new cards to be released and pass this one on to my son who is running a 9600XT later this summer ? Also just replaced my generic 3200 with kingston HyperX 4000 I have pushed my 3200+ to 2.4 GHZ (218X2) how much further can I push it on air running Vcore @ 1.75 and Mem at +.10 agp @ +.10 to get it stable using default timings

I don't know about the overclocking bit, but as far as the vid card goes, it really isn't worth the extra $200 in my opinion. You'd be better off selling the 5900 and getting the 9800 Pro, which is just under $300 at Newegg.
