I have had my thunderboard fail, requesting advice on a replacement AMD cpu?

Well, if you have a Chipset that can handle up to 266 fsb(Front Side Bus), I would reccomend the 2400+. Its a good speed CPU, that isnt a speed monster, but it will more than handle any games, or everyday stuff you want. If it supports the 333 FSB, you might wanna go a little higher...2500+ or 2600+. Those CPU's, in the XP line, are the best bang for your buck. Hope that helps...
