I was surprised that the Belarc advisor tells me that my AMD Athlon XP 2400+ processor is a 1.5Gig processor. What then does the 2400+ mean?

The 2400+ should be running at 2GHz. The model number itself means that it performs like a 2.4GHz part. To get your processor running at the right speed, set the FSB to 133MHz and the multiplier to 15.

It runs at 2ghz. The 2400+ means that performs the same as a p4 2.4ghz processor.
