Hello,
I am currently in the process of building a new computer. I am currently on a budget so I don't really want to spend to much. Right now I have a FIC AU13 motherboard(nforce2), ATI Radeon 9800 pro, Athlon XP 3000 (333 FSB), Thermaltake Volcano 10 HSF, and I am trying to find out what memory to use. I don't overclock but I have thought about possibly buying a mobile and overclocking it. The three sets of RAM that I was looking at are
Kingston Hyperx Dual Channel PC2700 (2-2-2-5-1)' ">http://www.gameve.com/gve/stor....aspx?sku=MMN-KING-026,
Corsair Twinx Dual Channel PC3200 (2-3-3-6-1)' ">http://www.excaliberpc.com/pro...3_164&products_id=2672, and
Mushkin Blue Dual Channel PC3200 (2-3-3)' ">http://www.monarchcomputer.com...=M&Product_Code=140373. My first instinct is towards the Mushkin because it runs at the same timings as the corsair, costs less and would allow overclocking and upgrading of the cpu. Also on Corsair's website they say that with AMD cpu's their ram runs CL2.5.
Thanks,
Mike
