Please let me know. I'm thinking to buy the Barton CPU and it would be my first AMD machine.
When I attach the CPU fan, I know I how to use the thermal paste or pad, the top of the CPU is not flat, where do I apply thermal paste, there are three rubber pad and there is a tiny square silicon pad on the center. Do I put the paste on that center area?? Other than this place, I don't have to put the paste??
If you know something, please let me know.
Thank you,

You apply a small amount of thermal paste to the core. That's the raised silicon piece. The best place for instructions, is found at the artic silver web site.
