will a 2500 0r 2600 xp+ be able to set multiplier to 11.0X200 fsb so i can get 2.2 out of it?or is it locked,and what do you think is the best bang for the buck of all the xp chips,gona upgrade cpu.

Buy a 2500+ mobile xp they are all unlocked and some are getting 2.4 Ghz at 1.65 vcore some make 2.7. There is the bang for the buck without some of the heat of desktop XP's.
2500+ standard multiplier is 11. 2600+ 11.5.
