i bought a AMD Xp2200+ today it when in my mobo fine it booted up no prob it is only showing up 1500+ and my MHZ is only 1343 i have mobo duron socket A L7MM2 i can get a ASUS A7N8X-E-delux 2nd hand from a comp shop for $70 the dude at the shop told me that would siute my new Xp2200+ better and run at the speed it should in the mean time am i at risk of stuffing my MOBO if i keep the Xp2200+ IN UNTILL i get my other Mobo

Set your FSB to 133MHz both in BIOS and via jumper on the motherboard(if there is such a jumper - refer to your manual for details).
