Hi, can anyone direct me to a simple table that shows the number of pins on a cpu without the need to delve into spec details? I'm currently running 478 pin cpu's but am aware that at some point in the AMD range they change to 754 pins.

A socket 478 is an intel P4 or Celeron. AMD's are 462, 754, 939. and 940. At the very top right corner of this page is a link to the AMD homepage, where you can find all the technical docs for the processors including pin configs
