Ok right now I'm running a XP-M 2400+ @ 2.42GHz at a 1.85v. My temps are as follows right now (just net browsing)...
CPU- 32C Case- 21C
Now, I'm one of those people who try and squeeze every last degree in cooling, air cooling that is.
I was thinking, if I lower to a 1.8v which would give me roughly 2.4GHz this would lower my temps a few degrees. The question is do I want to drop my speed a bit to gain lower temps? It's more of a debate question as I'm 50/50 on it right now.
My temps don't go above 46C while load, it's usually right around 44C although one time I saw it peak 46C. BTW, when I say load I mean playing EQ, listening to MP3s via Music Match and browsing the net .
Let me know all your comments and suggestions, since I'm at a split decision personally.

Yeah, but the question is, should I go for even lower temps while decreasing my processor speed or just keep it the way it is. Told ya I'm a temp. freak , always about trying to get the lowest temps possible since I'm OC'd.

Experiment away if you must, I subscribe to the "If it ain't broke, dont fix-it" school of thought, up to you really.

Physics? Ha! This is clearly magic and devilry at work. Prepare firewood! We have witches to burn!
